We work from historical fencing sources, and we combine this with modern training methods, modern equipment, and serious competitive practice.

Though we embrace competition as a method to test our skills and ourselves, we also believe there are many other fulfilling aspects to HEMA. If you choose to compete, you will have access to some of the world's most successful and experienced competitive fencers to guide you, but if that's not your thing, you will still find a home at Ausardia.

We value hard work, camaraderie, and a passion for fencing. We take our craft seriously while still having fun. Everyone is welcome regardless of ability, goals, or background.
